Nice try! Interesting patterns, but invoke little emotions. Can you tell me what kind of feeling are you trying to achieve here?

I think the vertical is slightly off the centre line.

I realised its very difficult to get pure symmetry. Like in this case, the top right and left corners are not the same. Can this be due to the distortion of the lens too?

yah...i guess its de distortion or perhaps my camera wasnt tilted properly when i took dis pic. :)

A good use of symmetry. Good choice of the use of black and white as well. I somehow suspect that it wouldn't be as effective if it were in colour. The pattern of the dead leaves in the grooves adds to the photo as well.

But I might try to remove the twig on the first left groove.
