With your job on the rock, will your travel dreams trashing sooner than expected? Time to find new job or see how is the ship going to be? Know 1 more type of skill is quite useful nowadays, else cleaner also might not have a spot for you if you been booted. :(

Only those in the civil service can still plan ....................
New entrants to the Civil Service will receive 25 days leave rising to 30 days or more after 10 years service......one year can go for 3 to 4 trips......iron rice bowl........

Now got covid case, hoping that it will gone by next year. Planning going to Sydney in May 2021 for full lunar eclipse transition. Then fly back within a week or so if everything are ok

IT sectors are hardly affected. Most management activities are done remotely anyway and lots of other business processes were forced to be done remotely as well. This will not flip back over night. What is completely outdated by now is the old-style IT management where one goes to the server room in the morning to pat the racks and check for status lights.

Cannot go overseas, I am planning locally. A day in sg, if sunny day. Doing time lapse from east to west. 10 locations, maybe making use of 3 cameras at some of them. By grab, train, bus and walk (YNWA). Too bad flyer operates at certain times and date (need to update on this) and some locations, too troublesome to reach and move forwards. Hope can success, else camera inside dry cabinet also wasted :(

the term iron rice bowl does not apply to the Civil Service anymore... no more pension... new appointee are given 2 years contract only subject to good performance for contract extension
