Hi guys I am working on a series of art works experimental Cinema Project (had to give it a name) - anyway the first one, is something which I have been developing for about a year in terms of the technical aspect. Basically I got sick of making video art and high and mighty concepts, and started playing around with a digital still camera to make moving images instead. Now I am attempting to use it to create moving images for a short film. Anyway the short film called Reservoir,

here's the link to the video

please tell me what u think about it.

Hello Charles,

Very nice..
If you dont mind sharing...the main subject are a series of still images right?

Not the vehicles moving etc...great quality thanks for sharing.

goneforgood..

yep --- still camera on motor drive - 3 frames per second.
each frame is about 2000x 1000 pixel (2K), so it's aimed for cinema projection.

Great Charles..

What astonish me is the effort you put in as we are talking about
00000...........of frames in that short clip... How did you pull off the
vehicle coming down the road at three frames per second? (secluded road )
that is the killer one that make me go ;p ;p

RESPECT DUDE!

goneforgood...;)

Just shot something yesterday, to present to canon for possible sponsorship (1d mark3) yum..yum.. I think this clip looks more commercial --- please check it out and tell me what u think? link here

note that the true resolution is 2000 X 800 - but I dropped it to 800 X 320 with flash encoding.

Hello ChaRLES,,

nICE MAN..but i prefer the first one though.. anyway..that is me..
co's i like the car coming down the road scene..
isnt that song a copyrighted piece?

goneforgood:)

Charles, I like the effect you are getting, it's quite special. Hope you have the stamina to make a film with this technique. Would like to see it.

Gone for good is correct about the music. You shouldn't really post copyright stuff here. Just my opinion.

Hello Charles,

Congratulations... Hope your project will be a success dude!
Can't wait to see more of the clip motion in super megapixel Canon 1D mark 3.

goneforgood:D
