or you might wana put a cloth or paper just not to let it contact directly to the equipment..

as from my experiance, some Si gell will leave stain to some metal surface

exactly wat i did!! hehee..
got the box at $12.90 at NTUC. good as it has rubber sealing ard the cover and comes with the tray to seperate the gel.
 

can make 1 with internal burner to heat up the silica gel when it is moist ?

U heat 2 dollars worth of gel and end up buring 10000 worth of equitment.. haha..

I've made my own dry box too! :gbounce:

Plus bought a digital hygrometer to measure the humidity inside the box. Kept it nicely at 50% humidity.

Now quite experienced, know exactly how much to add to maintain the humidity.

Can find it at most DIY shops.
Bought mine at HomeFix in Marina Square for $32+
Saw Giant selling them for $28+

It's a pretty cool device.
It's always on, showing the current temperature & humidity.
It can also measure the daily max/min temp/humidity level.
