Is it advisable to place the camera directly on top of the gel?

or you might wana put a cloth or paper just not to let it contact directly to the equipment..

as from my experiance, some Si gell will leave stain to some metal surface

I've made my own dry box too! :gbounce:

Plus bought a digital hygrometer to measure the humidity inside the box. Kept it nicely at 50% humidity.

Now quite experienced, know exactly how much to add to maintain the humidity.

Can find it at most DIY shops.
Bought mine at HomeFix in Marina Square for $32+
Saw Giant selling them for $28+

It's a pretty cool device.
It's always on, showing the current temperature & humidity.
It can also measure the daily max/min temp/humidity level.
