Steady/Glidecam Steadywalk Outing

Good day all,

First of all, hope i did not post in the wrong section,
been looking around and thought this is the suitable section for this thread.
Sorry mods if i posted it in the wrong section once again.

I've been interested to start a small gathering for all video stabiliser owners in Singapore,
Was inspired by some of the overseas outing, and also my passion for filming with the glidecam.

Starting this thread out to see if any stabiliser owners are interested for a day out around town or places around Singapore,
Simply to just play around with your stabilisers.

- No restrictions on brand / model of stabilisers.
- as long as you own a stabiliser, You are welcome.
- No Age restrictions.
- No nationality restrictions.

Everyone is welcome.

This is just a Interest Check for now, If we could hit at least 5 interested individual, The outing will proceed.
I will closed the thread if participating individuals don't hit 5.

Just need a show of hands who's interested.
Date and time will be confirm again to the convenient of all individuals

I need to withdraw from this outing. my wife throw the stabilizer away. She thought I never used it must be something not useful, throw the whole box away. Luckily the video light is still with me.

Same here. I bought a glidecam stablizer but do not know how to balance it. Did watch some youtube video on how to balance it but it didn't work for me.

Was hoping that someone can teach me how to balance it.

Ofcourse,

No worries, I'll try my best to teach the new comers how to balance them.
Just bring the stabiliser along.

Calibration tuning normally take awhile,
But if you're familiar with your own stabiliser, it won't take long.


I'm using glidecam HD2000 and it has a X and Y axis fine tune knob.

You can come down and take a look,

We might also be discussing about types of camera for which types of stabilisers.etc
