updated: some others here

even the tilts are about the same angle...
great shots...

thanks everyone :D
my 2 cents for newbies: keep the background clean, exclude any shadows at the back, try -0.5 to -1.5 EV if spotlights are on subject, flash is not a must.

A chance to shoot some live band performances this coming weekend, check it out...cya

This is weird, shouldn't it be the other way round? :dunno:

depending on available lighting, if spotlights are on subject's face like in this event, +EV overexposes and wash-out, giving u a 'white face' :bsmilie: (my experience only, cant speak for others)

I guess it depends if you use matrix metering or spot metering..

so both of you are right.
