1. in what area is critique to be sought?
- Subject Focusing / sharpness / exposure / lightning
2. what one hopes to achieve with the piece of work?
- Patience, as it takes me a while to let the bird stare at my lense and the possibility to fly any moment.
3. under what circumstance is the picture taken? (physical conditions/emotions)
- Sunny afternoon but a bit dark due to tall tress that covers the area but sun rays went through the leaves.
4. what the critique seeker personally thinks of the picture
- Too vivid. Lights below (Bird's feet) seems annoying or exaggerated?

this is tricky lighting, i am not aware of the unwritten rules/behaviour with regards to shooting birds, since i do not do bird photography, but if it is acceptable, fill in flash might be better here to even out the exposure, if it is even possible to be able to reach the bird with a long reach lens.

the background is distracting, you need to find a cleaner background.

Hi night86mare, Thanks a lot. appreciate it.

would be nicer if it wasn't so over exposed... the bright rock is just a bit distracting.
composition is fine though. most of the bird is in focus which is good(at least the impt parts are)

Hi Nysheng, Thanks a lot! :)
