it will corrode the cover if i'm not wrong. there're a few which are able to use on most materials like those used in lappys i think. but please TRIPLE check with the shop and if you wanna spray yourself. please practice. i've sprayed my keyboard and it's nice =P but you needa proxy risen or something like that which is also called transparents layer of plastic to protect your main colour.

The commerical spray paints you get from hardware shops, like RJ, Nippon, etc will probably corrode the plastic surface. To be safe, you can use those meant for plastic models, like Tamiya spray paints. More expensive, but definately no problems on plastic.
If you like to have a "top coat" to protect your paint, you can just get a can of Clear, or laquer paint. Apply thin layers, instead of 1 thick layer for best results.

They are all acrylic paints if i'm not wrong. just that the spray heads and pressure are different no?huggable said:

anyway for lappy. i really hope u take it to a pro and do it. its a lappy! electronic device and its expensive. airbrush all the way? but airbrush is expensive. like those used on gundam bodies those kinda thing.
Maybe you can try taking out the boards inside first before spraying, so that you confine your spraying only to the casing? It should be easier than trying to cover up the parts that you don't want the colour.
that's what i did to my keyboard as well. but i'm not sure whether the surface of the lappy would be affected by the spray paint. i know airbrush would be okay. but got to find a professional to do it. =)

Gmask aint worth it because it's a commercialised place meaning others might have it as well. this kinda thing. it's the same as my friends' spraying their mouse with airbrush. not not seen one in action though. really maybe can consider those place that do gundam one? last time i had the keyboard. it's bright orange like partically and attacted alot of attention =p
Klose : if i wanna mod my casing colour. how much would it roughly cost? i'm not really a case modding pro. i'm more to the equipment modding side =D
