It is good that they made it to be ultra rich.
But this list is dangerous.... for those on the list.
It invites the taxman scrutiny.
It invites people coming out from the woodwork who never knew them, or who met them once 30 years ago, mooching relatives, etc... to ask for loans.
To ask them to "invest" in rip-off businesses.
Gangsters will target them and their family members for kidnap.
Conmen will target them for fraudulent cheating scams. by the way, when conmen make you a target, you are known as the "mark".
Scheming beautiful ladies from PRC, Mongolia (ask Abdul Razak Baginda), etc... will target them for marriage/mistress relationship to rip them off.
Business rivals who did not make this list will be envious and hate those on the list.
In some corrupt countries (not Singapore...but maybe In???????) powerful people will know that now those on the list can be squeezed for money. All of a sudden they are being charged by the so-called anti-corruption agency for a fictitious list of wrong doings...but all with the intent of squeezing them for money. (can even happen to corporations...ask Singtel)
Sometimes they even insist that other countries extradite their own citizens so that they can put these rich men in jail and force them to cough up a fortune. That is how rotten it gets.
