Under the sea...

I was reading the articles on this site http://www.spi-sg.com/ and many of their pictures mention about orbs…You may say it is just dust…but…

I believe many of us have taken pictures that are sometimes blur, with ‘orbs’, ‘glare’ or ‘lights’ appearing out from nowhere. So is there anybody here who has taken of pictures where they see something ‘extra’, something ‘less’, something…
I notice & seen some galleries that some of the clubsnappers here do wonder into places like cemeteries, OCH or other 'forbidden sites' mostly during the daytime... I wonder did any went to the places photographing during the night time?

Do you believe these things are paranormal sightings? Or what?
Share your experiences! :dent:

Okay, here is my "ghostly" experience.

This *really* happened during a trip with my family and some close friends a few (10+) years back. We rented two apartments (family/old folks in one, youngsters/friends in the other) in Genting Highlands to spend a nice quiet weekend to enjoy the coolness and also for the parents to go visit the casino (duh!!) ...

When we checked into the apartment, all of us immediately commented that it felt eerie and weird, but being in holiday mood, just shrugged it off (btw, me also noticed a large black moth which was perpetually perched on one of the walls). Anyway, time passed quickly and soon it was evening and got dark quickly.

Whipping out my camera (at that time was using a Pentax Espio 110 p&s), we trotted out to the balcony to take a few pictures (with me as photographer). Took a few shots, then inexplicably, the camera flash didn't fire for the next two shots when i tried to take pic of sis and cousins (camera was on auto). Putting it down to user inexperience, ask my sis and cousins to pose again and took one more pic, this time flash went off.

Later that night my sis (she is *really* sensitive to paranormal stuff) mentioned to us that she had seen *something* floating (note: floating, not walking) to the back of the apartment and into the bathroom at the end of the corridor [the apartment was kinda L-shaped, enter into a large hall (living room on left, kitchen on right), then a long corridor branching off into 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms] - she had caught glimpses of it a couple of times.

That kinda set the stage for the rest of the night - needless to say, no one wanted to sleep in the bedrooms, and all the mattresses were brought out into the hall (except the one in the bedroom nearest the hall, cos one of my friends insisted on sleeping there no matter what). Anyway, after some time chitchatting and talking, all of us eventually fell into fitful sleep (I say fitful because NONE of us got good rest, next morning everyone complained of weird dreams and weird noises).

Needless to say, something weird also happened to the guy who slept in the bedroom - he was sleepwalking at around 3-4am and there was nothing we could do to wake him up (also heard that it was dangerous to wake a sleepwalker). Weirder still was that he appeared to be awake (eyes open), and mumbling stuff .... and he couldn't remember anything the next morning.

Anyway, the next day, we all checked out and went home.

But there's more ... when the roll of film from the trip was processed, there were two extra pictures ... yup, you guessed it, the prints came back with images from the two snaps that I took when the flash did NOT go off. Since it was pitch black outside in the balcony, I had fully expected two blank spaces in the negatives and consequently two less prints. The two prints came out as perfectly exposed as though the flash had gone off, but together with my sis and cousin, you could *clearly* see the figure of a woman with long hair (whitish apparition) on the pictures. Whats more, the apparition appears in different places in the two pictures (one right in the middle, one on the left side).

Talk about eerie!! Anyway, my mum made me destroy the negatives and the pictures (burnt them outside in those "tongs" used to burn joss paper). But the images remain in my head till today.

True story, no bull.

p.s. forgot to mention this in recounting the story, all night long, the toilet at the back of the apartment kept flushing itself at irregular intervals - this could be due to bad plumbing, but suffice to say that we all went to pee at the other apartment's toilets.

Spooky!!!

As for me, I have experience some stuffs but never photograph 'anything' and don’t want to... Haha :)
Sometimes I have “weird thoughts” which really can’t be describable through words. I will start thinking about death and will start to cry. I have told this to a few of my friends and one of them suggested I should join in some religious meditating sessions. One thingy which I noticed is, recently I keep having these thoughts and realized whenever it happened; there will be funerals around my neighborhood. *I’m not joking*

Just like what people had said, infants will cry if they go some place with these ‘things’, or dogs will howl. I’m still figuring out about it…and told myself to take note the next time the thoughts reoccur.

Anyway, keep the stories coming!!!

ok this happened to me when I was maybe arnd primary6 when i stayed at my previous flat in bedok reservoir. There was this particular bedroom which I dunno why, but I've always felt like there was "something" there.
There was this particular night when I was down with fever and sleeping in that room when suddenly heard a lot of dogs barking in the neighbourhood (like the scene in Ju-on where the lady heard a lot of meowing), so I got woken up by the barking... then to my horror i suddenly heard someone breathing beside me! I was scared stiff and decided to stop breathing just to make sure tt wasnt my own breathing... unfortunately the sound didnt stop.
I didn't dare turn to see what was beside me but just stayed in that position with my eyes closed and body shivering in fear. Good thing I managed to get back to sleep.
I dunno if that was just some weird dream or whether it was because I was sick n hallucinating... :dunno:
But until today I still have nightmares abt ghosts n stuff that takes place in tt flat... heh

Hmmm... I think i read of something similiar somewhere...
These was this lady who could, for unknown reasons, sensed aparitions( dunno if it's the correct word to use) or something similar, then someone in the neighbourhood would pass away, either sudden "medical" reasons or by accidental... She begun to realise this coincidence, and became very afraid of her thoughts... so much so that she became very distrauted and felt mentally tormented by her thoughts... finally she could not take it and killed herself.......
Just a story that i read somewhere.. true or false, u decide.
Cheers,
Zapline

I was not joking when i wrote the above posts...

1-2 mths back, i had the thoughts twice in a week and kinda cried myself to sleep. I realised there were 2 funerals in nearby blocks for the next few days :what: :what:

I had some sort of a similar experience when I just couldn't move, though I could see a little (but very blurly) and I keep hearing a lot of weird noises. :dunno:
