Very interesting.. i'm playing the demo on my cat photos bro....:bsmilie:

It's very nice if the subject is not cluttered on the bg though.

Another favourite!...

Here some information regarding this image:

This image is actually an oil painting taken with Canon Ixus II 3.2M in Lourve Museum sometimes back and the image went through quite afew of processing.

First, EV of +/-1 and tone mapped in Photomatix to bring out details.

Then fine tweaking with Shadows/Highlights, Level and Curve in CS4.

Next, using Neat Image to reduce noise and lastly, Fractalius Filters came in and here is the end result...

Quite abit of work done here...well, thanks for viewing...and good day! :)

This one is good!!!
but it depends on the viewer if he knows the real picture though...:D

i knew this craze was going to hit cs sooner or later

anyways, my stand still remains, do not lose sight of the composition because of the effect, and make sure the effect adds value, rather than add "wow" factor because it is not seen before. for example, first one is probably a good use, but even then the framing has a bit of awkward crop off of the flower (bottom right).

i have seen some very nice renditions on flickr done on cats.. :)
