I happen to chance upon this and I thought fellow Clubsnappers may be keen to take a look.
SOP or School Of Photography Singapore is a new photography school and what sets it apart are the instructors. Alan Lim (http://www.alanlimstudio.com), who was formerly with The Straits Times (whom I am a big fan of) is one of the instructors and I can honestly say, is one of the best in town.
Meanwhile, SOP is running a photography competition over here: http://www.sops.sg/event/sops-first-point-shoot-contest and budding photographers are most welcome to join.
In fact, I think the top prize may help you expand your knowledge of photography so I reckon that is a pretty sweet deal. Coupled with the fact that your submitted shot may end up being chosen for a exhibition makes it a bigger incentive to join.
So for those who are keen, do pop by their Facebook Page (http://www.facebook.com/SOPSG?v=wall) or their website and look around.
Best Regards,
WG
