How much har? Anyone knows. Looks interesting leh.

yeah... tried out my friend's and I am EXTREMELY impressed.

the first thing to wow you is the very crisp and bright widescreen LCD, simply amazing.

once you start playing any of the games, you realise how amazing the 3D graphics is, virtually on par with the PS2.

built quality is very good too but battery life can be better.

still, it is a very impressive piece of technology which I believe that Sony must be making a loss selling them for such a low price, considering what you get.

i call it alien technology... it is really that good, try it out and you are sure to lust after it. :)

Was thinking of selling my PS2 to get the PSP...

don't do that! your PS2 won't fetch much anyway.

keep both, one for linking up to your bigscreen and the other to bring around, hang around your neck or something. :bsmilie:

But my Ps2 also put there v long liao. Sian. :(

how low price? u know?

Sony will be launching PSP locally next week, according to Straits Times, would be around S$455 IIRC for local set with 1 year warranty.

Current imported USA set that comes with 1 Spiderman 2 UMD Movie sells for around $558

then what makes you think you won't put the PSP away when you are tired of the games? ;p

I bought my PS2 to play games, but the games have all gone MMORPG and there are less and less fun/interesting games on the PS2, PSP at least it's portable, I can bring around and play and listen to my ipod at the same time.

one thing to note, locally released PSP games will be in Japanese. Was at a Sony showroom @ Bishuan J8, the promoter said the games will be in Japanese :( priced between $52-$79 IIRC

at least the price of the games are lower for local release...
initially jap games are ~$85... really ex!

So Sony PSP official launch is tommorrow.....anyone getting it?

The first few batch sets are still Made in Japan.....

Price at $455 for the basic kit......

Sound cheap but Japan sets are still cheaper in Japan.....JPY20,000 with basic kit...

JPY20,000 = SGD312.00
