Thanks to all who advised me in the previous thread about the poorer quality of harddisk camcorder compared to dvd camcorder. I am now down to 2 models from Sony, it is a questiion of low noise versus price. To summarise, 805 has lower noise but is priced almost $500 more than the 755.
