Dear Fellow ClubSnap Members,
I hope all are doing well in this current circumstances.
I have an A7ii, right before SG when into CB phase I had encounter my A7ii shutter stuck half (Open/Closed).
When to Sony Centre to get it fixed, but as the service personnel grab hold of the cameras itself.
It went normal without any diagnose nor work was done.
It has work well since, and not much used due to CB.
However I had encounter it again *(As picture attached).
The question here is;
1- Has anyone encountered, the same experience?
2- Has anyone got it fixed? and what the damaged from Sony Center or independent shop that can fix it.
3- Is it viable option to get it fix as compared simply buy new? Considering the repair cost and newly purchase.
All your feedbacks and comments, are highly welcome and appreciate.
Remark:
Current Shutter Count Approx: 8k
Usage: 70% Photography / 30% Videography
Symptom Encountered: Shutter Stuck (Open/Closed) / Error Message: Camera Error. Turn Power off then on; however unable to power off rather had to either let the battery drain off or totally remove the battery from the camera.
