This is really wide! May I know if you are required to use the close up adapter on top of the LTM mount for this lens?

Well, if you don't need focus closer than the normal rangefinder lenses' min focus distance (which typically 0.5-0.7m), you don't need the close focus M to E adapter. My Voigt 12/5.6 is the version 2 M mount not Ltm.
