Does this make sense? Seems sycophantic to me.
By the way, airports are named after DEAD people. Not while they are alive.
So is this an indirect curse by Stanley on someone with his same surname?

Doesn't make sense to rename a well known airport.
"Changi airport" is a famous brand.
Many travelers knew about it.
Renaming it will confuse travelers and thought that there is a new airport in SG.
 

Just like the smart scholars over at the Committee Against Aviation in Singapore (CAAS) spent tens of thousands of dollars to organise a contest to name the budget terminal "budget terminal"?

We Singaporeans are a creative bunch of people.
 

I would say that naming a school or a fund after LKY would make more sense than this...
