First few shots using the 400D with kit lens of my "fortune plant" bearing flowers ?

What "fortune plant"? Can show?
But u are really lucky to see it flower .... :)

as for the pic, i feel the glare in the background is too much???

Why not try using a piece of black colour paper to cover the flower pot. Shoot at higher shutter speed to darken the background small aperture.

This one is 金钱树.... "fortune plant" is Adenium "富贵花".

my pc cant read the mandarin words ... is it "fu kwee hua" that i m having ?

erm .... i just started shooting few mths ago as a hobby . sorry if it seems weird :embrass: i tot this might be an interesting angle
if i am more direct.. looks like P#n!2 ;p really.... dun be offended yah ;)

fu gui hua is fu gui hua :p

but ur jin qian shu really well kept!! I like this plant 'cos it can tahan and so can recycle every chinese new year! hahaha ....


The new pic with darker background is much better.
And don't need to paiseh about the "perspective"... it is ok lah :)
