C&C are welcomed. No PP have been done as I'm still not back home.
=)

Personally I like no.5 the most. =P

so did u redeem your free hug? :bsmilie:

no, jail bait + possible chances to appear on media cos I see long lenses and pro video cams lurking ard....lol:eek:

did you try the xu liu xian dessert? its very nice..

I can see why you like number 5 the best.
Besides sharp XMM, the background is interesting too.

omg this is very nice i think...i also got a Kx and kit lens but I dun think my photos are as good as yours..

yeah i keep wondering if there's a problem with my kx cos i can never get photos as sharp as that... is there anyway that i can check?

Nice series, I like #4
Kx + kits lens very capable, if you have good skill :)

friedkick, GSiGuy: I push the ISO up to auto 1600-3200 to compensate for the lesser lights on the street. (actually the HK 西洋菜街 is quite brightly lit)

As we usually dun see 100% cropped pics, you don't see much noise after reducing the pic sizes. :p Also, I'm more tolerant to noise than to blurred image lah.

i keep seeing noise from iso1600 upwards and i suppose that is why i loathe to go above that. i keep wondering if i need to bring my K-x down to emjay for a check... or they may just turn me away.

anyway those are great pics. you have a great eye and you certainly max'd out the potential of the kit lens with great technique!

can i ask you abt pic # 3 and how did you capture it? what was shutter speed, aperture, white balance settings? and where did you meter off?

of course there'll be some noise at ISO1600 and above :bsmilie:

as bro zeroplus1 also mentioned, these pix had been reduced in size so the noise is less obvious. if u pixel peep the 100% crops, its there.

we need to have realistic expectations of our equipment. the quality that the K-X is capable of is already very impressive.

Aperture mode, F3.5, 18mm, ISO1600.
WB +0, multi segment metering.

I simply put my k-x on the bar top and set a 2sec timer.
:p

just find some time to play with your k0x, it's fun.

cool! hence the super sharp pic.

uhh what does WB +0 mean? i have only used the usual settings before
