Nice to meet EVC there today ;p

anyway, here are some of the shots... quite poor actually, the nature trail was especially quiet (not many butt around)

AGreed. A male.

#9 is a female cruiser. They tend to be larger than the males.
#13 is a purple duke
#15 is a femal archduke.

I see you found the lantana plant along the fence. :bsmilie:

Didnt manage to take much good shots, going there tmr again :bsmilie: . Yes, I'm addicted to butterflies :blah:

Lionking, I took your suggestion and tried manual mode, shooting mostly at 1/80-1/125. background came out just nice... need to perfect shooting techniques......... and yeah, I found the Lantana :p
 

Hey Simon, nice meeting you too ;) In fact, yest was my most fruitful trip in term of species spotted. Hee, thanks for that 100 plus ;) Lovely shots you have there :thumbsup: BTW, noticed that the DOF of your pictures were very good, what aperture do you normally used huh?

not mention it :embrass: just a 100+

the aperture setting for the shoots was manual mode, f14, ISO 200, 1/80-1/200
