hi all

im using a pentax k100d super with smc 18 - 55 mm lens and tamrom 70 - 400 mm lens and mikona mv 328s flash unit and a nikon d90 kit lens 18 - 105 mm and sb900 speedlite with the pro kit ( diffuser and honeycomb mount on both flash unit .

its is enough for ad wedding shoot ?

sry its 70 - 300 mm tamrom

Very difficult for shoot. You can try but dinner will have trouble dealing with light. I suggest investing some fast lenses before starting a business.

fast lens as in those f1.4 ? any recomand ?

Hi i suggest start with at least f4 f2.8. You can look for cheaper alternative like Tamaron 17-50 and N70-200 VR1. With both lens you are less restrain from low light.

With flash you will need to set it at rear setting and everything just slow down so you still need fast lens for night event. A fast lens also help to speed up focusing at low light. =)

Possible, but flash and high ISO may be needed often. The SB900 flash may be usable on Pentax body if flash has Auto mode, as it is likely to have higher power than Nissin flash

Depending on budget and shooting style, no need to have everything.

Standard zoom/Primes:
F2.8 16/17-50/55mm
Sigma 17-70
50mm f1.4/1.8
28/35 prime.

Telephoto:
Primes from like 70, 85, 90, 100, 135mm
F2.8 50/70-150/200

Wide angle for indoors, table:
10/12/14 - 20/24mm ultra wide
14/15 prime

cause my smc is F4 and tamrom is F5.6 fast enough ?
