So where do you stand morally?

This test only has one question, but it's a very important one. By giving an honest answer, you will discover where you stand morally.

The test features an unlikely, completely fictional situation in which you will have to make a decision.
Remember! that your answer needs to be honest, yet spontaneous.
Please scroll down slowly and give due consideration to each line.

THE SITUATION

You are in New Orleans to be specific. There is chaos all around you caused by a hurricane with severe flooding. This is a flood of biblical proportions.
You are photo journalist working for a major newspaper, and you're caught in the middle of this epic disaster.

The situation is nearly hopeless. You're trying to shoot career-making photos. There are houses and people swirling around you, some disappearing under the water. Nature is unleashing all of its destructive fury.

THE TEST

Suddenly you see a man in the water. He is fighting for his life, trying not to be taken down with the debris. You move closer. Somehow the man looks familiar.

You suddenly realize who it is. It's the President, George W. Bush.

At the same time you notice that the raging waters are about to take him under forever. You have two options- you can save the life of the President, or you can shoot a dramatic Pulitzer Prize winning photo, documenting the death of one of the world's most famous men.

THE QUESTION

Here's the question, and please give an honest answer.......

Would you select high contrast colour film, or would you go with the classic simplicity of black and white?

:bsmilie:

hahaha....tt's a good one. :bsmilie: :bsmilie:

I'll go B+W...

I will use a nice roll of Tri-x on the soon-to-be former president bush
:bsmilie: :bsmilie: :bsmilie:

This is the 3rd time or 4th i saw the same topic. why ah..:dunno:

Btw the answer is I will save the men and use a B+W

Nothing moral or not about this question. If the chao ang mo can bombed innocent iraq civilians then I have no problem watching him die. That war is not sacntioned by UN.Tio bo?

all WOLS mah...

if i was to do it... i'll be more concerned with which metering i should use... :sweatsm:

Actually I was think maybe a rope ...you know like a string on a tea bag...then you really make sure you get the best possible shot of the last moments of the Late Prez Bush before he's gone beyond recall. Think movie - NG reshoot.

I would go for color and bracket the shots too. Then recompose and shoot again. Use continous shots some more.:bsmilie:

I would juz shoot with what ever that's loaded in the cam at hand.

Where got time to change flim? Wait miss the prize shot how?

i will b 2 stunned 2 do anything for a few precious seconds.

wen i finally decide, d cam will still b in my bag & he'll b so far i cant get a gd head shot of him...:bsmilie:

ISO800 Black and White.

With long lens, nice grains on the photo. 1 headshot, 1 full body shot and if I've got time, I'll change to wide angle for a dramatic shot. If I can get up close, its time for a fisheye lens.

Basically that's it. :)
