Tiger makes friends with goat that was meant as food - inSing.com

An unexpected friendship formed after an orphaned tiger makes friends with a goat that was supposed to be its meal.

Staff members at Bor Wildlife Sanctuary in India released the goat into the tiger’s enclosure, hoping that the animal would make a quick kill.

To their surprise, the male tiger, named Bhangaram, did not kill the goat, even though it was hungry, and instead played with it.

The Times of India reported that at one point, the tiger even playfully pushed the goat into an artificial waterhole.

The friendship lasted two days, and workers finally decided to take the goat out and give the hungry tiger some beef to eat.

Aftermath:

What happened to the goat Bhangaram did not kill?

Well, santuary workers said its sisters did the job, instantly killing and eating it.

They reckoned the sisters would have no trouble adapting to the wild again.

Sad life to be a goat.
