depends how determined you are to stay put at your chosen "shooting range" be it rain or shine..

so, how determined are you?

Thanks for the timetable.

Appreciate.

Well last yr i stayed at one spot to shoot from the start of the porsche race till the end of the qualifying. So how determine does that make me?? But my shots were very pretty lousy. Wrong spot i guess.
So any advice where to stand? i got zone 4 walkabout. was thinking of stationing around the spore sling turn or bend area. :dunno::dunno:

still cant figure out the logic why they cant put a roof over the overhead bridge and the bridge was very slippery when wet.

depends on your skill,

best would be a place where can have pic of cars coming right at you for frontal shots and cars passing by you for side shots.

eg, like in the first photo of post #8.

as for what you might want to bring,

in case of rain, trashbag for the bag and those semi transparent plastic bag for the camera. Poncho or raincoat for yourself.

in case of hot weather, a towel for the camera, lots of water, extra shirt.

for the noise, industrial standard cover-ear type head phone.

additionally, might want to bring those small foldable three leg chair.

I wont comment what camera gear you should bring.

any spot, not particular about the view, not intending to shoot, just wanna see cus prediction is that this year will be a wet race,

so...anyone didnt bring any wet weather protection?

for those who intend to use plastic bag to cover dslr and keep shooting, take note humidity will accumulate inside the bag so do open once a while or when can see water droplets/fogging inside the plastic bag.
