My home studio, is very simple

A couple of old card board boxes, are my base
A hardboard piece forms the top on which I have two white pieces of chart paper
For lighting I use two emergency lamps, am working on a stand for those

Hope this is useful :)
Will send you a pic if you want

If i'm not wrong the dice will glow in the dark right? Why not try do it in a totally dark layout, let the dice glow in the dark and use long exposure to take it? Might be nice also.. Hee..

i think it's about time to implement Critique Corner's guidelines more strictly.

please be reminded that each member is allowed 1 post a week for critique.

you have been reminded to read the posting guidelines already.

Hmm.. means that the dice dont glow in the dark bright enough? How about using torchlight will light and concentrated beam to shine on the dice rather than a big patch of lights?

elkin:

Sorry, no critique needed on the last set
Was just following up on androos suggestion

androo:
It's not reflective enough, I did take the second set with a flashlight
It looks washed out with a concentrated beam on the dice

DcnA:
I will need to read up on light painting, not sure what it is

jaredpogi:
Thanks
Will give it a try

Hi eikin, i tot if it's a series, its ok? No? I know its not stated in the guideline, but I definitely read it some where in some one else Critic Corner thread....and everyone was fine with it....sorry if I am wrong. Just trying to clarify.:)

series is definitely alright if the series is read as a single piece of work :)

in other words, the pictures in the series are created with the intention of being strongly linked to others in the series. for example a sports reportage, a well themed photo-essay etc.

if the pictures are randomly, superficially or vaguely linked to one another, i believe it is hard to consider it a complete piece of work.
