The branches that is blocking the structure doesn't work for me... Correct me if I'm wrong. Is this the National Folk Museum, located next to Gyeongbokgung Palace?

Just some comments. Hope you do not mind:)

Pic 3 seems to be a little pixelated. Is it due to resizing or...?

Ya, resized all to 640x480. Have resized to 1600x1000 now, should look better now...:)

That's interesting, never thought of that.

Tried to add some noise in the original post, looks quite nice too. Thanks!

Nice series, are these photos shot in film?

Thanks.

No, they are digital. Just got my DSLR (D70s) last month and went on a shooting binge in Korea..haha.

How come you thought its film? Would like to know, thanks.

Was there last Nov, late autumn. That's why I can recognised those landmarks. Like you, I went on a 'shooting spree'. Took almost 2,500 pix all-in-all. Boy! The weather was damn cold at that time...:)

Here's my take on the same location. Hope you don't mind I 'hijack' abit;p

Hi Mike,

Welcome to CS!
Nice series! Really like #6 especially, gives me the cold solemn feel of the scene! :)
More pics to come perhaps?

Hi John!

Happy that you like the photos! One thing I noticed is that even though so many CSers here have been to Korea, taking photos of the same place, no 2 pictures are really alike becos we all interpret the scene in different ways. Interesting!:D

I have this pic which is quite interesting, but which I did not post earlier cos I didn't like the building in the background:

10) Shadow in the Shade:

Its a shadow of a statue, which looks like its under the tree for shade..haha.

Hope to see you around at some photo outings! Take care!
