if not they seem rather accurately framed for hip shots...

thanks ziedrich, all the pics are uncropped except for #4. manual focus preset at 2m was used throughout.

hmm ? i've not used my dslr on the streets for very long already..

film + 50mm way to go for me..

maybe i'll revisit dslr for streets.. see how lah.

Preset at 2m at what aperture? Seems there're lots of DOF in them. Were they at 35mm focal length film equivalent on your digital?
I normally prefocus at 5m at f8.

2m at f2.8, at 32mm focal length (35mm film equivalent). actual focal length on the digital camera is only 6.8mm, so there's lots of DOF even wide open.
