wah ! the shot is blurred ... should be due to poor lighting and cause slow shutter speed ... to take clear shot of the snail , you need external light source ...

Stay focus on the intended subject. Be decisive and selective on what to include in your composure. The snail composed in your picture was too small to make a statement neither was the blur plants. If you zoom, don't handheld. Use tripod or put on flat stable surface such as table. Try harder next time. Make it to the point you don't have to tell us what your subject was and we don't have to look hard to figure it out.

Thanks for all the advise...

The tank is lighted by 2x3ft and 1x2ft white light. total abt 60Watt

Seem bright enough for me... do I still need external flash?

Think my hand is a bit shaky...

Will do better next time.

what is the shutter speed and apeture size of the camera settings ? with these values , can determine whether the lighting is enough for such shot ...

as what iiioloiii said , you need a tripod to take the snail ... moreover , snail is very slow and you can take your time to focus it ... if possible , use manual focus ...

I am using A20.. No manual focus lah.....

Just point and shoot....

Dun really have money to change to manaul ones...

you could shine a torch light on the snail to help you focus better.

I see ... that is the limitation of dc without manual focus ... can your A20 focus the snail ? sometimes the auto focus does not know which object need to focus ...

But the tank is really very bright already... dun think a touch will do any different...

the tank may be bright as a whole but the snail may not have enough contrast for the camera to focus properly.
