SMS Macro Outing XXXIII. (sign up list).

Hi to all Macro shooter out there, care to join me for a Night Macro Outing at Lower Peirce?

All are welcome....

This outing will be limit to 10 people because of safety reason, if by any chance the list
grows too big, I'll put the rest into the next outing if you want.

Meet up at Casuarina Curry Restaurant at Casuarina Rd along Upper Thomson Rd.(Use
Google Map if you are not sure). or follow the link page 2 & 3, photo provided by Excel-glsi

Drop off at the last stop B23, before Upper Thomson Rd and Yio Chu Kang Rd junctions.

Please bring along powerful torchlight or DIY your own setup, bring water, don't worry NO Mozz....
If raining it will be cancel, check with me at 96550011.

8.00pm to 11pm, those who wish to leave early can do so.

I'll be at the curry house around 7pm for Dinner,

Those Cree LED(>100LM) touchlight like Surefire, but you can buy cheaper "Cree LED touchlight" made in China at quarter the price...

Thanks for the info. Are they available in homefix or camera shops (challenger?)? The size of it should be small enough to somehow attach to the flash, right?

You can get it at Mustafa at around +- S$30. I used a small one mount on my camera(DIY) for focusing and a big one for searching insects.

My big CREE LED touchlight from DealExtreme = US$58.99 includes shipping

What's LM100? Is that index for max brightness?

U can buy from mustafa on the 1st floor. Anyway its made in USA. I got mine last week. It uses 2AA batteries. $33 for the made in USA one and $30 for CHina made ones

Just got 1 at homefix - stated 100lm.. enough?
Will be using 105mm with sb600 flash.. what shld i prepare before the shoot?

will go mustafa to buy the torch tml..1st floor rite? need to check something, will a 100mm f2.8 macro be enough? and my flash will be 580 exii...pls advise..
