Smoke during fireworks

I got some nice ones on CNY eve. Have not gotten the time to go down again. Sad. Will try again sometime before it ends. I got some nice ones and after that, its all smoke, smoke, smoke.

you can use F11 or F16.

I do the same thing also..when the smoky part comes, I will up my aperture and lengthen my shutter secnods..

But if you lengthen your shutter seconds, wouldn't that cause "blurness" in your pics because the fireworks get mixed with the smoke? Light and smoke all mixing up in your pics. Just wondering.
