Slow International connection speeds

Can anyone connect to gmail or hotmail? I cant seem to connect to them for the last hour but slashdot.org is ok. According to a poster on HWZ seems like a submarine cable in Phillipines is down.

i also got this problem....even now my clubsnap loading time also slower.

Last night i also can't connect to Yahoo, MSN, Ebay etc....

Ok leh... can connect to gmail. Also d/ling via BT right now. Seems OK.

I believe there is some cable connection (SG to outside SG) issues.

from what I heard it is due to the huge amount of spam from germany floating around
yesterday was bad but today everything is back to normal
