Slik U6600 Tripod Can Support FZ10 With Wide Con?

I have problem mounting my Fz20 on the tripod when in vertical position as the front lens seems too heavy so the cam will rotate and pointed downward. This happen even when i try to screw it real hard.

I have the phayee adapter mounted on the Fz20 together with a UV filter which adds to the weight of the lens.

Anyone experiencing the same problems?

Get a heavier, good tripod, I am sure it can be supported...

Velbon / Manfrotto will be nice.

Unless you budget concern. I had one tripod not use which Im planning to sell off. $35. Canon made. With handle to carry ard and a hook to get the centralise of the tripod. At least its not that those weak tripod.

i did play around with my pana tripod with olympus wcon 07... still can do 8 sec shots without toppling... at the top of the esplande... heee...
