Slik Tripod U6600

I have this Slik U6600 Tripod, but not sure whether it can be used on Canon EOS 40D.
Can anyone advise?

Your tripod max load cap is 1.58Kg. Tripod weight is 1.1Kg.

Do the maths of camera body weight+lens and you'll know....

My advise...get a better tripod for your 40D lah.....
