Dear friends,
Race Against Cancer is a charity fun run organised by the Singapore Cancer Society. Show your support for cancer survivors and those who are battling cancer. Put on your running shoes and do your bit for charity!
Proceeds from the run will go towards funding the various programmes, such as cancer treatment subsidy, hospice home care, welfare assistance for needy cancer patients, free cancer screenings, public education initiatives and helping children whose lives have been affected by cancer.
We look to attract 5,000 participants and 1,000 cancer survivors, and hope to raise $300,000 to fund our programmes and services.
Each year we help more than 1,000 needy cancer patients and reach out to some 40,000 individuals through its community outreach and awareness programmes to encourage screening and early detection of cancers.
Your participation and kind support will help to ensure that our beneficiaries receive the best possible care, so that they will have the best possible chance of survival, and of leading a normal, healthy and productive life. Every dollar will go a long way towards supporting our cause, and for our patients, any support that you can offer will give them hope for tomorrow.
We need your support to continue the fight against cancer!
