Singtel *send

Trying to get *Send to work but I can't. It says on Singtel's website http://www.ideas.singtel.com/RedirectFile.jsp?type=newNinfo:

All you need to do is to press * following by a 3-digit short code on your mobile phone and press <SEND> / <YES>. Your requested information will be sent to you in short message format promptly.

So if I want to check the local weather, I create an sms and type

*109

What next? The website is so unhelpful.

Maybe they should rename the service to *Call.

Instead of 9xxxxxxx<call/send/yes/whatever you want to call that green button you use to make phone calls on Nokia and other phones> just key *yyy<call/send/yes/whatever you want to call that green button you use to make phone calls on Nokia and other phones>
