Singnet overseas network to US seems to have "chibaboom". Just received email from my co's IT dept.

Saw this on HWZ forum

There is a sea cable cut on APCN2 near HK-China affecting Internet connection to overseas esp US. Traffic are being routed to SMW3 cable but users will expect congestion.

Just spoke to a technical operator - they know nothing and have no idea when it will be better - ho hum....
