Venue: Football Association of Singapore (Finance dept) (Jalan Besar Stadium)
Time: 9am to 5pm

Date: Wed 6 Sept (Match Day)
Venue: National Stadium (East and West Entrances)
Time: From 5.30pm onwards

Ticket Prices:
Grandstand: S$10
Gallery Adult: S$6
Gallery Student: S$2 (with valid passes up to and including Poly, ITE and JC)

This would be Singapore's fourth match in Group E.

As National Stadium next yr no more liao, this would be a historical match for the Lions.

On paper, sg has no chance in every dept.....but soccer ball is round.....you never know until the end of the whistle :lovegrin:

yah.....Singapore with only a few millions population and want to get into World Cup 2010? :sweat: :sweat:

nevertheless, Trinidad is the smallest country at the 2006 World Cup finals, with a population of just 1.3 million.

I think Holland also has about the same population as Sg :lovegrin: So it's not about the size, otherwise China and India will be in the WC2006 final :thumbsup:
 

yesterday went back home went past stadium....wah so many ppl went to the game!!! but probably mostly are the PRCs rooting for the country...haha. but damn good result nonetheless

Instead of saying China Standard drop, why not praise our Singapore team for their new standard. Over the past 3 years, Singapore team did put in more effort in defence and attack and teamwork. Its no longer a one man team.
