SINGAPORE STREET FESTIVAL 2003
The Singapore Street festival is not simply a showcase for exemplary programs, but rather Singapore Street Festival was created and developed to be a meeting point for a confluence of different cultures, ideas and perspectives. An opportunity for performing talents and audiences to engage more deeply in the processes of any particular art form
Plans for Singapore Street Festival 2003, hope to see bigger and
wider use of spaces to be proposed. Looking to include some
programs and activities that are not featured in Singapore Street
Festival 2002.
At the same time, there will be programs and activities to encourage youth and young adults to create and innovate in their inventive works. For example: features in areas of multi-media arts and innovation, or even venturing into entrepreneurial activities under guidance and supervision from the experts.
Singapore Street Festival is targeted to the youth and young adults of Singapore regardless of race and religion. Not restricting, but also to welcome supporting members family and friends, general audiences of the public, and even our tourists are welcome to join in the excitement and fun.

The Singapore Street Festival 2003 will be a multi-platform one
stop shop.
Featuring many genre and facet of programs and activities coming
together "Under one roof" in this Street Festival.
Singapore Street Festival 2003 seek to deepen something as abstract as our sense of belonging. Above all, our attitude towards talent and skills in performing arts and street lifestyle need to be
renewed.
The Singapore Street Festival 2003 program and activities will be

a) Reading of scripts or short feature from new scripts or
reworked
scripts from theatre groups or arts group or new writers
b) Poetry and literature expression in real performance
c) Featuring excerpts of `musical pieces' on street in real
performance
d) Showing of new works whether musical or drama on stages by
scriptwriters and composers.
e) Mime artistes
f) Script writing and/or acting contest
g) Static pose
Beyond Social Services will be hosting a drama contest.
2. Dance - Proposal
SSF 2002 has seen classical dances performed by school, B-Boys
performance can be seen in the Street Fashion program and complete with an Open Dance Contest.

Beyond Social Services will be organizing a dance competition for
