Nope.. hehehe... just that I was experimenting converting digital to B&W and roughly gotten the same results.

But looking at it closely now, it bears the trademeark of film and Tri-X film :)

Can i ask why photographers always like to attach their flash onto their cameras at all times?

In that picture, it was in daylight right? Would there be any use of a flash then?

I use my 420ex like 1% of the time. Haven't changed batteries in months. I just seem to prefer natural lighting more.

regarding the flash issue...u never know when u will be movin indoors sometimes . Furthermore, its good to have a flash for fill purposes....

natural lighting is good...but sometimes the lighting locally is really flat...

btw...its cool to see another photog wearing shorts ahha.....for a time i tot i was the only one ahah....

cheers!!!

Natural lighting is one thing. But sometimes you need it to use it as a fill flash. Especially when its very bright.
