Hi Guys,

I am trying to make this photo like a 'futuristic feel'... constructive comments are welcome :D

And, any idea what would be the 'appropriate' title of this photo?

Thanks!

I like the feel that it gives; might want to add a hint more of a blue hue, not too much, just a small bit, to make it look cooler and more futuristic.

What takes the futuristic feel away from the photo, though, is the patched up road surface.

personally, i feel that the colours are a tad flat.
your pic looks pixellated , and the text at the bottom makes the pic look awful

however, the mood is nearly there :S

it works for me. throw in some blue or sepia hues as well.

i thought the distortion, a little less would be great

I agree with the text at the bottom, kinda distracts the photo, but it was a good shot, maybe you can entitle it "the future is ours" ;)

Not bad, I think you should crop the bottom of the picture a bit, and also increase the contrast. Saturate the blues and use a nicer font like bank gothic. Use a black border and position your wording there instead of covering the photograph.

I think it might be your display; the photo is free from any pixelation whatsoever on my display.

I think if u crop halfway through at the middle to show only the buildings and the sky, it would fit futuristic better, cos the texture of the road spoils it and the trees too.

yup, i agree, if u were to crop it 3/4 down without showing the road, it will look more futuristic.

Btw, i think the contrast is just right. Anymore of it will make it too much. The only concern i have is the center of the pic where the building is a bit overexposed. Maybe u might want to use the burn tool( set at 6% using 0 hardness level) in Photoshop to slightly underexpose the overexposed area?

Just my 2 cents' worth.

Btw, great pic! I like it very much.:)

Thank you all for the input... :)

I am still trying to get the right 'futuristic' tone...

To crop this is also a good idea... thanks!

hi, am a newbie to photography here... i think this is a great pic :)

if i may make some suggestions more for the caption though:

maybe something like 'we live among man made mountains' or 'concrete fingers reach for the sky'?

if you find a similar pic with one lane instead of two, perhaps another play on the word cld be 'will Singapore stay on the straight and narrow?' (which alludes to the well cut lines of buildings together with narrow road in the foreground)

Very good image.

However, the road looks distracting (or out of place?) and maybe some blurred people walking would be nice.

Adding a cars Trail of light will be more futuristic :)

Hi,the photo looks like something from the ARMY 21 commercial as far as i can remember lol, with the guy running through the CBD. Colorwiese, instead of bluish hue, you might want to experiment with greenish tone might give an impression of being futuristic as people associate it with the 'Matrix' setting.

The lines are great but to me a Singaporean the buildings are too familiar and too old to conjur futuristic feel.

Cheers
