how come the moon round one ah...i tried taking night shot with my DC...but ended up my moon becomes 'star-six' pattern..any way to correct that?

try to use a wider aperture. if you stop down, you will get the 'star-six' effect.

oic...no wonder....but if i use a wider aperture..won't i get a greater DOF? will that reduce the sharpness of my pic then?

i used f/8 for this shot. shallow DOF with wider apertures are not much of an issue if you know roughly that your subject is focused at infinity.
