An art installation project that seeks to engage with the intricate
relationships and wonders inherent in our daily life; between people,
objects and the environment, through the process of creating.
A chance encounter between strangers in a city,
a conversation, a promise made, leading to the
transformation of an everyday object into something
that seems to obtain a life of its own – a Strange·R.

Osage Singapore
An exhibition featuring the works of eight Singapore
artists concerned with questions of representation
in relation to the act of drawing, Found & Lost serves
as an extension of the ideas previously explored in
Aversions, a drawing publication project curated by Guo-
Liang Tan. With Singaporean artist Cheo Chai-Hiang’s
work as the backdrop for their investigations,
Ang Soo Koon, Cheong Kah Kit, Khiew Huey
Chian, Charles Lim, Matthew Ngui, Shubigi Rao,
Erika Tan and Ian Woo each explore and
respond to the boundaries of drawing within
their own artistic practices, delving into
issues such as peripheral vision,
perpetual delay, the impossibility of
the image, and the fragmentation of
language and memory in relation
to the act of drawing.

Reminiscient
The Observatory

This sound and visual installation is an extension exhibit of Invisible Room,
an unusual ‘live’ performance by pre-eminent Singapore rock band
The Observatory in collaboration with filmmaker Ho Tzu Nyen.
The highlight, however, will be the revealing of the panoptigan structure
in which musicians of The Observatory had performed, a space that was
concealed during the actual ‘live’ runs of the show.

forms the second part of a triptych of performances developed by David Clarkson,
Co-Artistic Director of Stalker, a world renowned physical theatre company.
Red explores the end of the world as foreseen by Western science and science fiction:
Imagine the Earth in several billion years, faced with an imminent collision with the
sun. What forms will humans take? What will be our obsessions and desires as we
prepare for the earth to fall into the sun? How do we dance goodbye to the Earth
we once knew?
Exploring the texture and ephemeral nature of falling, suspension and gravity, Red is
an extreme movement work of frenetic beauty portraying a journey to the end of
time, into the remote landscape of the imagination.

The Dream Engine (UK)
Watch the gigantic Diamond come to life. Unfurling like a transparent giant orchid, it
achieves full bloom at a height of 11 metres. Be mesmerised as the solo aerial dancer
within moves and twirls to the crescendos of music and colourful, dancing lights,
suspended on what seems to be nothing but a column of light. After dark, the lights
reflect and refract in crystalline formations, creating ghostly images that mirror the
hypnotic beauty of the dancer.

Guess, all going to experienced the sound, smoke and light real close.
Thats why its only suitable for age 10 and above.

Plenty of HDB blocks surrounding that area...no problem at all to shoot from the blocks

We can go up the high rise blocks but I believe the residents of the blocks will also be part of the audience so I dun think it's convienent to setup the whole corridors with our tripods and shoot. After all, they are the residents there.

Maybe if there's space then we can just setup there. If not, it's better not to cause unneccesary disturbance to them.

Get out of the rain, boys!!! Don't get yourself sick with the flu. It's already causing enough problems.

Wow wow wow! What an experience to be right in the midst of fireworks. If shooting from inside, remember to put on the lens hood to minimise the falling fireworks ashes from dropping onto the lens. Tripod inside might be too hard due to the crowd, especially if at the front row.
