Actually it never took off and was never launched ... this has been vaporware for so long, its a wonder it hasn't evaporated totally.

Notice too that the add-on is a rendered image and not even a product mock-up.

I saw in newsgroup people mentioned that they sold some. The reason they cannot sell it mass is the price. Unless they can cut the price down then maybe we will have something fun. Otherwise, god know whether will we see them in the shelf. People like Microsoft for example can afford to sell X-box at $100 under cost to capture the console market. Some of these companies even bought their competitor and strip them, put their resources in use or developing their own products. While many start-up and some good products even cannot see day light Just another side of life.
