i just want to find out where can i get silica gel at a reasonable price?

Yes, a drybox is a must, if u dun wan the humidity of singapore affects ur expensive camera.

Some bought at carrefour, but personally, i buy those plastic food containers which are air-tight(choose those that are really air-tight one), put silica gel in and control using a hydrometer, cheaper for me coz i aint have a lot of stuffs.

Hydrometer?Wow....
Anyway,how do you separate the gel from the rest of the stuff?

there's many ways to place gel in the dry box ... spread all over the base of the dry box ... place in a container and place it in the dry box ... hmm ... as long as the gel serves it purpose ... anyway will do ~~ but dun be dumb enough to fill ur whole dry box with gel and place ur camera into the gel ... :devil:
