was at pierce reservior with my friend and took the photo. just want to try silhouetle. want to create a peaceful feeling from her sitting and think deeply

the silhouette works very fine here..:thumbsup:
the colors doesn't compliment it though..warmer colors would be pleasing to the eye
since you are doing silhoutte should have underexpose it a bit or use a filter to supress the sun.
sharpness works for me:thumbsup: but do watch the horizon
composition is ok but could be better..

just me opinion..

i suppose u did matrix metering and try to crop it tighter it would look much better
 

#1 placement of the subject at the centre didn't work well, since she's facing the left, more probably I would place her on the right.

#2 you took at an angle to the concrete which made it looked curved i suppose and it created a very unbalance feel.


The silhouette of the subject turns out good enough as her outlines are not merged into any of the horizon. In a nutshell, just some simple composition should do the trick, cropping might help but its always better to get the picture right even before you shoot. :D
