Sigma lens not for Canon 300D?

Hi there..
I have try to buy sigma 70-300mm F4-5.6 DG MACRO from two CS SELLERS but turn out both cannot be use for my canon 300D?
does anyone know why??

Sure both are DG versions? if so no reason not to work.

Try cleaning the contacts on both sides..

DG refers to coating while APO refers to a special glass to improve image quality...
