Sigma 70-300 APO DG Macro ??

Q: MACRO 對焦開關，不過原廠設定只能在　２００－３００　使用（當然是可以破解啦）
Translate: Macro focus switch. Can only be use on 200-300 default factory settings (Can be cracked!)

A: 開Macro, 暴力的向70mm一扭
Translte: Enable Macro. Use slight force and turn it towards 70mm

Caution: 這支的破解法的確是這樣, 不過有的鏡頭可能會很難轉
Translate: Its indeed cracked this way but some lens are hard to turn.

I've gave it a try. It works! Now its the same as the 28-300 with full range macro!!! :bsmilie:

Maybe why it is limited is because ... imho...

1) for that range, you are best using it for widelife? sports perhaps?
2) minimum focal range is 1.5 meters..
3) you cannot get too near insects like dragonflies, or maybe hornets or bees.. therefore standing at a good distance you will not scare them away or risk being bitten by them..
4) the loud motor focus will not scare subject away... hahaha

Tried that lens.. still have it. Great lens.. though slow in hunting sometimes.. but really good for a price like that.

wouldn't risk force switching to macro mode.
