which would u guys get?

apparently the price almost the same. can some bro here state the differences between these two? besides the range. ;)

Lets have a look what the others have to say about

- Nikon 80-200mm/2.8
The 80-200mm has alot of great reviews from users here as well.

FM lens forum did not seem to have the macro version. Got this bit for the sigma

- Sigma 70-200mmf2.8

I would get the Nikon

Ryan

i'm aware there are many versions of this lens right?
care to share on them? i'm using a D80. if got money, would like to upgrade to D300.

would love to have the 70-200 f2.8 but i think the price is overkill..

I believe the only version of the 80-200 f/2.8 currently still in production is the two-touch version. The others are EOL and can only be purchased secondhand.

to me there are all different in terms of looks. specs wise i'm not sure..
all images were gotten off google under the search (nikon 80-200 f2.8 AF-D)
clearly 1,2 & 3 looks the same to me. 4 looks like a 80-400 VR. 5 is the one i wan to get.

do you know the exact model of this lens? i'm sure you know how painful it is to find the correct one online as everyone names their images differently which makes me so confuse.

and would this lens be any problem to me if i were to use it on D80 & D300?

1-3 is the one touch verison, it has already out of production and got replaced by the two touch version which is no. 5.
4 is the afs 80-200 f2.8, it has already out of production and got replaced by the afs 70-200VR f2.8
5 is the two touch version and still in production.

If you were to get the af-d 80-200 f2.8. Get the two touch version. All these lens can work with D80 and D300.
