sigma 28- 70 vs tokina atx pro II (28-70)

Hey all, can anyone tell me how are the performance of these 2 lens compared to one another? In terms of optics, focusing, sharpness and color?

Heard that the Tokina Atx pro II is soft for f2.8 but the problem disappears at higher f stops like f4.

How abt the sigma 28- 70 ex df lens in comparison.

From my research both lens are pretty prone to flare but tokina is worse. How abt distortion?

I own the Sigma.

Generally I kinda like the min dist to focus on the subject.
Lesser dist as compared to Tokina.

Also, the AF on Sigma is faster, but, Tokina is has a more quiet motor.

Sigma goes to F32, Tokina F22

Tokina is much heavier if weight matters to u.

Tokina uses this clutch system to swap between AF & MF. My Sigma does not.

My Sigma seems fine. The Tokina I dunno.

if you need to view pics from sigma, go to my photosig pics. There is a number of it there.

Sigma is lighter and it came with a perfect hood and lens pounch.

Which ever one you buy, I dun think you will go wrong. Both are good performer.
