Sigma 120-300mm AF 2.8

Hi , need some advise and fact findings. Has anyone own a Sigma 120-300mm AF 2.8 ? How is it compared in term of sharpest, and AF speed compared to the other primes from Canon EF 300mm 2.8 and Nikon 300mm 2.8 AFS?
A touch off ? Comparable or way below in performance? The world wide web is singing praises on this len but like to hear from our local shuttlers.

I just borrowed one from my friend, and tried a few shots. It's sharp, and af's extremely fast... An impressive lens.
